Aafia not linked with Al Qaeda: US judge

NEW YORK: A US federal judge has determined that Dr Aafia Siddiqui, the Pakistani neuroscientist, would not be linked with the fundamentalist Al Qaeda outfit during her trial scheduled to begin on Jan 19.
The prosecution had informed the court on Monday that it would not contest any ruling which absolved her of any terrorist links.
