Dr Aafia Siddiqui – The Prisoner 650

KARACHI: Judicial Magistrate, East, Karachi, Zabiha Khattak Thursday issued show cause notice to police officer investigating Dr. Aafia Siddiqui’s kidnap case for not submitting record on statements of her relatives.

The court had summoned Investigation Officer (IO) Shahid Qureshi to appear along with record.

Instead of appearing, IO submitted a report through another policeman.

The JM, issuing show cause notice to IO Shahid Qureshi, ordered him to appear with complete record on January 25, 2010.
