Dr Aafia Siddiqui – The Prisoner 650

KARACHI: Court of judicial magistrate east has issued show cause notice to investigation officer in Dr Aafia kidnapping case and has summoned him to court along with the report of the case on January 25.

Kidnapping case of Dr Aafia Siddiqui was registered against some unknown persons by Gulshan Iqbal police under the directives of federal interior minister and national assembly standing committee.

The investigation officer Shahid Qureshi did not appear before the court on Thursday and he sent an application through a constable that he was preoccupied with SSP Investigation in a meeting therefore, he could not attend the meeting.
