Yes, it is exactly the above comment from Shery that causes so many problems for the rational and impartial (not to mention intellectually sound) critique of the situation that Dr. Siddiqui finds herself. For myself, I find the case very distressing. Needless to say the American government has employed some very controversial (and not all together innocent and trustworthy) actions in response to the war on terror historically. However, I think this case may be one that deserves closer attention to detail, particularly to the testimonies of those that are most pertinent to the case (Dr. Siddiqui and her family). Regardless, it is a shame that Muslims, and particularly those that are very sentimental about the case in question, cannot approach this issue with the use of profanity, and by using meaningful discussion and dialogue, rather than resorting to profane attacks on the American people.
Dear Brother / Sister Shery,
Ds is not the way to express your feeling as a muslim. As a muslim i can understand ur feeling. i am joining with your feeling. but we should keep our language. a MUSLIM who should keep his tounge from the abusing words. Who should talk only with please and respectfull. this is the way prophet teach us. we can shgare and request to join peole to stand with us, but as a muslim we don’t have any rights to abuse anyone. may be if we are calling like Americans there will be lots of muslim brothers also including in that group. So pls take care next time, otherwise v r abusing including our brothers n sisters and other way we becomes worst infront of the world. Ds is not a good culture for a muslim.
ASSALAMU ALAIKKUM
