SHC adjourns hearing of petitions on repatriation of Dr. Aafia
KARACHI: The hearing of three petitions seeking repatriation of Dr Afia Siddiqui were adjourned till tomorrow due to paucity of time.
The petitions were fixed before a bench of SHC comprising Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali and Justice Muhammad Karim Khan Agha.
Human Rights Network, Amity International and Human Rights and Civil Liberties Society of Pakistan filed the petition seeking directions to the federal government and its ministries and departments to move US Authorities for return of Dr Afia Siddiqui.
