Nisar Memon urges charge sheet against US for making objectionable video of Dr Aafia

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate’s Standing Committee for Defence Nisar Memon has urged to summon US ambassador in the session and present a charge sheet against USA for an making objectionable video of Dr Aafia in New York jail.

The joint meeting of the Standing Committees for Human Rights and Foreign Affairs held in Parliament House under the chair of Senator SM Zafar.

In a joint meeting of Senate Standing Committees for Human Rights and Foreign Affairs he also directed the Foreign Office to record its protest to US for violation of human rights.

The committee also passed two condemning resolutions against the Israel’s aggression and for the release of Dr Aafia Siddiqui.

The Senate’s delegation who visited USA regarding Dr Aafia Siddiqui disclosed that Indian and US intelligence official investigated Dr Aafia at Bagram Airbase.

Senator Nisar Memon urged to held countrywide protest to put pressure on US government to review its policy regarding abuse of human rights of Pakistani people.

Senator Professor Khursheed demanded to hold an in-camera session of the Committees of Foreign Affairs and Human Rights to know that who handed over Dr Afia to US while Senator Sadia Abbasi said that Pakistani Intelligence Agencies did this job.

In the resolution it was demanded that by using Human Rights Organization’s platform Pakistan should stop US for violating human rights and criticize the international community for not playing their role to stop Israeli aggression against Palestine.
