CJP urged to take notice of threats to journalists
LAHORE: The Judicial Activism Panel (JAP) through an adopted resolution has demanded the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) to take suo moto notice of the series of events being happening about serious threats to the journalists’ community in Pakistan and asked the government to approach USA government for release of Dr Aafia Siddiqui on parole.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, the JAP said that the Executive Committee of the JAP held a meeting today under the Chair of Mohammad Azhar Siddique, advocate, to take notice of threats to the journalists.
