Nawaz assures Fozia help in Dr Aafia case
LAHORE – PML-N chief Mian Nawaz Sharif has called upon the government to play its due role in the release of Dr Afia Siddique and her children and unmask those faces involved in her alleged custody to the US
He stated this during meeting with Dr Fozia Siddique, younger sister of Dr Fozia Siddique who called on him at his residence in Raiwind here on Monday. He assured Dr Fozia Siddique of providing full cooperation in her sister case.
He said that Dr Aafia Siddique was daughter of Pakistan and it was responsibility of state to use its diplomatic circles to get her freed from US prison.
On the occasion, Dr Fozia Siddique informed Nawaz Sharif about the details of detention and torture resorted on her sister.
She asked Nawaz to play his effective role in this regard. Nawaz Sharif aggrieved on the matter and said that PML-N’s sympathies was with the victim family.
